The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Cleanroom Supervisor to support the Project Manager in preparing and executing a Cleanroom / HVAC modification in a live Pharma facility located in Ghent.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all site activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the contract scope and technical documentation package.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety
  • First priority is the safety and health of all personnel on-site.
  • Promote compliance with the Construction Safety and Health Plan.
  • Intervene directly if any unsafe situations or practices are observed.
  • Coach the workforce in best safety practices.
  • Review contractors' method statements and provide feedback to ensure all risks have been assessed.
  • Participate in Safety/Coordination meetings.
• Scope
  • Familiarize yourself with the contract scope, technical documentation package, and fabrication/supply/construction programme.
• Coordination
  • Monitor site activities to ensure contractors complete their contracts safely, within schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Facilitate morning planning meetings with contractors.
  • Prepare work permits for contractors.
• Quality
  • Implement the Contractors' Quality plan.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure required standards are achieved.
  • Witness tests and inspections under the Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Inform the Project Manager on all quality matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree educated or strong trades background.
• Availability to be on-site daily in the Ghent area.
• At least 5 years' experience in the Construction Sector on live sites.
• Life Science projects experience.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
