About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Data Officer to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a Compliance Data Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of compliance risks across the organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead budget and capacity planning, as well as analyze action versus plan. You will also be responsible for helping to keep abreast of regulatory requirements and market standards/practices with respect to the Compliance Function, and inspiring by coming up with solutions for continuous improvement.

In addition, you will enhance data-driven reporting within the Compliance Function, working closely with the Compliance Operations Office (COO) to bring the function to the next maturity level and ensure that it continues to keep up with regulatory expectations and emerging risks.

About the Team

The COO is accountable for the development and overall management of an operationally effective, high-quality Compliance Function and programme. The team is responsible for enforcing universal, coherent global standards and processes for all distinguished building blocks of the Compliance Programme, including policies, advisory, monitoring, reporting, and annual planning, quality assurance.

The COO ensures the Compliance Programme is aligned with the bank's 2nd Line of Defence risk framework and actively engages with key stakeholders in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd LoD, as well as with external stakeholders including regulators.

About You
  • You have a keen interest in Compliance related subjects and a willingness to become an expert in this field.
  • You have knowledge of Data & how to interpret large data sets.
  • You are strong in working in Excel.
  • You are someone who is experienced dealing with complex stakeholder fields.
  • You take initiative and lead by example.
  • You are eager to do your work better each day by improving and learning.
  • You have a background in Risk, Analytics, Compliance or Consulting.
