Job Description

Deutsche Windtechnik B.V. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the routine preventative maintenance of wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, gearbox, hydraulic, and converter systems.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant mid-level electrical education and at least three years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably with mechanical and hydraulic experience. Converter experience, particularly with GE and Woodward, is an advantage. The candidate should also have a good command of the English language and be aware of the importance of safety, health, and the environment in all work.

The Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist will work in a team of technicians, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, replacing major turbine components, and assisting in site operations, inspections, and root cause analyses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all relevant paperwork, including work order cards, checklists, and work permits. They will also report all works as per Deutsche Windtechnik procedures and report all incidents and occurrences as per Deutsche Windtechnik company Health and Safety policy.

The company offers a fine working environment, 25 vacation days, and 13 ADV days. The Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist will have access to good equipment and a service van. The company is committed to education and training to reach a higher and broader level.
