Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at Deutsche Windtechnik B.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine maintenance and repair of wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Assist in unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofits of wind turbines.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and failure diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and report all incidents and occurrences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Relevant mid-level electrical education (MBO 3 or 4 diploma, or equivalent in work experience).
  • At least three years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in wind farms or power stations.
  • Converter experience (GE, Woodward) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience with low and high voltage and completion of the course NEN3140 and NEN 3180.
  • Good command of the English language in word and writing.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Experience with laptop and MS software.
  • Ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
  • Practical and solution-oriented mentality.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work at various times and places.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
