About the Role

The ESG Sustainability Consultant will be responsible for leading the preparation of ESG reports and managing data collection processes for Sustainable Procurement. You will ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and auditability of ESG information while supporting the implementation of new reporting and disclosure practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of annual ESG reports and responses to ESG information requests for Sustainable Procurement.
  • Oversee data collection process ensuring that data is timely and accurate. Continuously improve the ESG reporting internal control environment to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely ESG information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes.
  • Lead identified gap closure initiatives to achieve full ESG reporting compliance for Sustainable Procurement.
  • Be the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding annual ESG performance data and information. Effectively support relevant functions with ESG performance information for Sustainable Procurement.
  • Identify, advise on, and implement new ESG reporting and disclosure practices, based on a deep understanding of requirements from regulators, investors/lenders, and sustainability actors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent project management skills and be able to manage multiple and complex projects on internal and external reporting ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. With your attention to detail, you ensure auditable data and processes. Your excellent communication skills make you understand the data and able to tell a compelling story, internally and externally. Furthermore, you have excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, which allow you to collaborate and influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization as well as in different functions and business units to achieve project goals.
