Internship Overview
As a Finance & Global Procurement Intern at our international headquarters, you will acquire hands-on experience in generating business insights and recommendations through the analysis and benchmarking of procurement outcomes related to costs and cash flow.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in daily procurement finance tasks such as period-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and enhancing cash flow.
- Contributing to an intelligent automation initiative within Procurement Finance aimed at streamlining financial processes and reducing manual tasks.
- Developing robust processes and (Excel) models to assess the impact of feedstock and energy market fluctuations on procurement outcomes.
- Creating and updating reports utilizing various systems including Excel, SAP, BW, Power BI, and BPC.
- Engaging in activities related to purchasing price components, market influences on cost pricing, standard cost price determination, inflation, and productivity analysis.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:
- Academic Background: You must be enrolled in a BSc or MSc program throughout the internship, ideally in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and fluent in English, both written and spoken. Previous hands-on experience in food research is advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: A structured approach, a proactive and energetic personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Commitment: You should be prepared to dedicate a minimum of six months to this internship.
- Availability: You should be able to commit to a full-time internship schedule, including a mix of in-office and remote workdays.
