Your role will contribute to minimizing fragmentation in the requirement-setting process while embedding regulatory knowledge and lending process expertise closer to the GRID teams.
The Regulatory Compliance team is tasked with accurately interpreting the regulatory framework into the systems, organizational structures, and processes, ensuring demonstrable adherence to policies and regulatory compliance for all lending activities. The ultimate goal is to enhance the Employee Experience. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will ensure the timely and high-quality conversion of regulations and policies into actionable regulatory and business requirements within the credit domain, facilitating the "DPOT" process: Data gathering, creating new credit processes, implementing them within the organization, and developing new technology.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn your capacity as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist within the Requirements & Process Change team, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the timely and high-quality translation of regulations and policies into actionable DPOT requirements, maintaining alignment with these requirements to guarantee adequate quality in delivery.
- Delivering these requirements to the relevant parties responsible for execution and implementation, which may include grids both within and outside the leadership team, lenders, and other strategic execution programs.
- Leading the DPOT writing process, which encompasses assessing risk requirements, establishing frameworks, and orchestrating collaboration among relevant stakeholders.
- Enhancing the lending journey while ensuring a regulatory-compliant lending chain.
- Advising grids and business units on the design and architecture of compliant and feasible solutions.
- Updating controls as necessary.
- Participating in Change Risk Assessments (CRA).
- Maintaining regular communication with external specialists and consultants to ensure that translations align with market practices.
- Ensuring that prioritization and capacity planning are consistent with Credit Risk Forward and the FCD program.
- Focusing on various aspects of the Credit Chain, tailored to your experience, knowledge, and interests.
The Requirements & Process Change team acts as a crucial link to the lending and lending support teams, overseeing the impact of all changes that will be integrated into Lending Support teams. This newly established department within Lending Transformation reports to Financing Solutions and combines Requirement Management, Credit Process Management, and Change execution capabilities.
The scope of the Requirements & Process Change team encompasses Financing Solutions and main bank retail / Small & Medium Enterprises. Exclusions include retail / consumer finance and specific Dutch entities.
Your ProfileYou possess a strong interest in lending, regulations, change management, and credit risk. Your understanding of business and financial risk dynamics, particularly in the lending sector, is well-developed. You thrive in high-performance environments and excel as a collaborative team player.

- A proactive, entrepreneurial, and change-oriented mindset.
- Experience with banking policies and regulations related to credit risk, with the ability to translate these into actionable DPOT requirements.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
