About the Role
AIG is seeking a skilled Underwriter to join our Financial Lines team in the Netherlands. As an Underwriter D&O, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of existing D&O accounts, ensuring retention and development through excellent service to clients and brokers. You will also be responsible for business development of new clients, analyzing risks, issuing quotes, and underwriting assigned risks in D&O product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of existing D&O accounts
- Ensure D&O account retention and development through excellent service to clients and brokers
- Business development of new clients
- Analyze risks, issue quotes, and underwrite assigned risks in D&O product lines
- Contribute to product innovation and development
- Monitor product results and share ideas to increase productivity and profitability
- Ensure visibility of the department through broker and client presentations and training
- Efficiently handle policy issuance and account management
