Caldic is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective international procurement strategies to meet the company's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and establish strong relationships to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about global market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, taking into consideration lead times, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Resolve supply-related issues promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions to operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an international purchasing or similar procurement role.
- In-depth knowledge of international procurement processes and market dynamics.
- Experience in the Personal Care market.
- Knowledge in the Personal Care raw materials market and manufacturers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards or regulations.
