Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sonoco. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspections and regular cleaning of filters and peripherals to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Lubricate and maintain hydraulic and lubricating oil levels on injection molding machines.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Maintain technical stock at required levels and in an orderly manner.
  • Ensure the safety and technical condition of machines and equipment.
  • Inspect compressors of the cooling system and air treatment system in the clean room.
  • Perform minor technical housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Work in accordance with LOTO procedures and authorized to stop work temporarily for repairs or safety reasons.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch language skills, with English language skills being an advantage.
  • Certification as an electrician with MBO-3 or MBO-4 education and preferably NEN 3140 certificate at VP level or IV level.
  • The ability to handle physical job requirements, including heat, noise, shift work, and working indoors or outdoors.
  • Strong mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn the job quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
