Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Sonoco. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fully execute quality procedures in accordance with QA protocols, including measurements and data recording.
  • Verify production measurements and declare agreement or discrepancy on QA documents, triggering procedure V320 as necessary.
  • Perform line checks, collect reference samples, and release or block production accordingly.
  • Prepare blockage reports and communicate findings to the QEHS Manager.
  • Participate in quality assurance projects and provide guidance to employees on QA protocols and measurement tool usage.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise test sprays and validations, reporting findings to the QEHS Manager.
  • Conduct entry checks, blocking products that do not meet specified quality requirements.
  • Maintain and improve quality control across assigned product groups.
  • Identify and address reduced quality or impending deterioration promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with a focus on quality execution.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and strong analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
