We're looking for talented developers with a strong passion for building reliable services to join our team. Our work involves integrating and building intelligent experiences across Office 365 via cloud services such as Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Skype, and Microsoft Teams. These implementation ranks among the world's largest and most cutting-edge distributed systems spanning hundreds of data centers globally.

Our products are used by most Fortune 500 enterprises, key government organizations, thousands of non-profits, and hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide. To deliver on our mission, we need to create scalable and reliable services, and we're seeking skilled back-end developers to help us achieve this goal.

You'll work in an agile development environment with diverse skills in algorithms and data structures, big data, data science, machine learning, and search technology. The position is full-time, and we offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $145,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a Microsoft software engineer on some of the world's largest and most scalable services, focusing on performance, availability, reliability, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with local and remote partners to turn requirements into simple, elegant, and optimal solutions at large scale.
  • Be responsible for design, implementation, testing, rollout, and running software services.
  • Develop clean and effective code, allowing refactoring when needed, and ensure your code base, including tests, is ready for change.
  • Participate in team discussions on architectural design and solutions, continuously looking for improvements.
  • Ship your code to thousands of machines serving millions of users worldwide.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands to be eligible for this role.
