About the Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Chapter Lead to join our Personal Banking grid at ABN AMRO Bank. As an iOS Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of iOS developers and engineers, guiding them in their technical craftsmanship, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Lead the development of iOS applications and ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with other chapters to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Act as a technical expert and provide guidance on iOS development and architecture.
  • Manage the HR processes for the team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Align with the IT Lead to ensure the team's goals and objectives are aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Create a healthy and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in iOS development (Swift/Objective-C).
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with DevOps and CI/CD tooling.
  • Good knowledge of architecture and design patterns.
  • Up-to-date with Apple technologies, such as SwiftUI and modern concurrency.
