At ICON, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, including the receiving, dispensing, and destruction of study medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of study medication inventory and dispensing.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of pharmacy technicians.
  • Address any issues or problems that arise during the study.
  • Familiarize and understand protocol-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate and dispense study medication based on protocol instructions.
  • Attend study start-up meetings to review pharmacy protocol procedures.
  • Maintain and organize the medication rooms.
  • Carry out directives from the project manager, medical director, or principal investigator.
  • Maintain and educate staff on medication delivery systems.
  • Prepare medication accountability documents as required by protocol.
  • Participate in client visits and communicate with sponsor representatives.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in sciences.
  • Be a trained pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy.
  • Have previous experience as a manager, QP, or radiation officer.
  • Speak fluent Dutch and English.
