Sustainability Project Manager

We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at G-Star RAW, a company that's passionate about innovation and sustainability in the denim industry.

About the Role:

The Sustainability Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce the environmental impact of our operations, focusing on energy use, water consumption, waste management, biodiversity, and carbon footprint reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure alignment with various standards and integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in environmental sustainability, monitoring and reporting on key environmental performance indicators (KPIs) and progress towards sustainability goals.
  • Develop scalable environmental improvement projects for the supply chain, managing their implementation and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

  • Masters's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
