Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Project Manager to join our team at Park Lane Recruitment. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the management of complex projects from initial phases to implementation and delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex communication and/or command and control/management information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage time, cost, and quality of all facets of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with customers to manage requirements.
• Motivate and manage project teams through clear guidance and assignment of work.
• Apply standard project management techniques in accordance with Prince2 methodology.
• Develop and maintain project plans in ServiceNow and in compliance with NCIA Directives and project management best practices.
• Identify, plan, and allocate resources to meet project milestones and/or initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Monitor and control project progress to ensure resources are utilised in accordance with the approved budget and within the approved timelines.
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders through the provision of briefings and the organisation of meetings.
Requirements:
• Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Master's degree in a related discipline with 5 years post-related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years post-related experience.
• Recognised project management qualification (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)).
• Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex communication and/or command and control/management information systems.
• Proactive attitude in seeking and maintaining trust from stakeholders.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
Desirable Experience and Education:
• Extensive experience with project planning toolsets, preferably Service Now.
• Recognised Service Management qualification (e.g. ITIL Foundation, ITIL specialist courses).
• Experience in private and/or public cloud infrastructure deployment, user and application migration projects (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and transition of projects to services and operations.
