Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Automation Technician to join our team at Lidl Online International Logistics (LOIL) in Venlo. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse automation systems, including conveyor belts, labeling machines, and vertical conveyor belts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspection and control rounds to monitor the general safety of technical installations and transport systems.
  • Conduct control studies related to circuit diagrams, measurements, and PLC programs.
  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor belts, labeling machines, and vertical conveyor belts.
  • Direct and oversee external maintenance and repair work, ensuring that it is completed to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Technical education and/or relevant work experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or changing shifts.
  • Dutch or English language skills required.
