We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Fugro. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging product development and project delivery, driving business value and contributing to long-term growth and success for our service line.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing improvement suggestions and innovative features against the most beneficial outcome for Fugro. You will engage closely with clients and users to understand their needs and iteratively improve the products you are responsible for through continuous feedback.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Define and share the portfolio (technology) vision and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and optimization;
- Define requirements and goals for each relevant product;
- Support and engage with innovation/design teams, asset management, and operating entities to prioritize the right capabilities and resources for the product to excel;
- For new and renewed products used on a global scale, support the creation of user stories, ensure that assumptions and designs are validated, and steer prioritization of backlog among development teams;
- Assist in defining innovation- and fabrication budget(s), including monitoring and reporting requirements set for internal and external developments;
- Understand clients' needs and establish business cases in alignment with our group guidelines, considering expected returns, competitors, and market outlook;
- Define and track key product performance metrics, stimulate detailed analysis on asset integrity and process requirements;
- Promote an agile mindset and facilitate regular reviews allowing continuous improvement and adaptation based on client and user feedback or changing market dynamics.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business, or a related field;
- Passion for mechatronics and small sensor technologies, with affiliation with Geotechnical investigation and testing, and international standard sets within our domain (ISO and ISO preferred);
- Track record in product management of integrated systems, preferably in a technology or asset management domain;
- Ability to define and deliver business value and control the value against cost over-time;
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
