About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across our two McCain Appetizers plants in Kruiningen and Rilland, Zeeland.

This role will focus on implementing the McCain Driving Impact program, promoting sustainable cost savings through the Sustainable Cost Advantage program, and analyzing processes to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead technical training and collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and promote McCain Safety and Food Safety & Quality programs.
  • Implement the McCain Driving Impact program by deploying strategies for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to deliver sustainable cost savings in collaboration with all plant stakeholders and the SCA team.
  • Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Lead and manage improvement projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
  • Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop a data-centric decision-making culture throughout the plant maintenance.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, ...) to ensure alignment and integration of initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption and implementation of new practices and technologies.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, progress, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
