The Business Controller role within Foot Locker's EMEA region plays a vital part in the company's finance team, focusing on supply chain activities. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, and report on financial results with variance analysis as finance lead.
  • Drive business intelligence and reporting through analysis and recommendations.
  • Improve cost-effectiveness of supply chain operations and logistics providers.
  • Partner with accounting teams and budget owners on monthly financial closes.
  • Highlight savings opportunities and risks, driving corrective actions to enhance business performance.
  • Produce recurring reports and variances, as well as ad-hoc analysis to address evolving changes in the business.
  • Act as a sparring partner and backup for the Director Finance Supply Chain EMEA.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess a solid financial background, comfort with US and European accounting methods, and strong process setup and refinement abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain and retail finance preferred.
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills required.
  • Power BI experience beneficial.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Persistent and result-driven, able to elevate quality and add value to complex reports and processes.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on location and experience.
