About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team at Swift. As a key member of our Network Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cyber infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted point of contact for network security matters
  • Conduct implementation of new initiatives regarding Cyber security, to enhance prevention, detection and investigation capabilities
  • Investigate less complex security cases and propose response procedures
  • Provide input to guide the security roadmap for future enhancements of our defense
  • Evaluate and integrate new security solutions in the existing infrastructure
  • Support operational teams maintaining security infrastructure (intrusion detection, remote access security, email & web security, anti-malware, etc.)
  • Support security investigations
  • Identify and analyze tools to automate day to day activities such as system checks, log checks and baseline compliance
  • Occasionally participate in supporting audits and risk assessments
  • Be deep on the technical side while being able to synthesize the information with right level of abstraction for the target audience
  • Promote a strong security culture at Swift

Requirements

  • Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, along with VPN technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Big F5, etc.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code for automating network deployment and operations
  • Solid comprehension of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, covering command line utilities and file system management
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services
  • Working knowledge of network automation frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years hands on domain expertise in WAF, OWASP Top10, Webproxies, Email Security, nIDS, CASB, VPN, ZTNA
  • Autonomous, driven, with solid ability to quickly adapt to new priorities and respond to change
  • Customer oriented and quality approach – we continually strive to deliver true customer value
  • Open-minded, enthusiastic, solutions oriented, and a true teammate – gaining energy through collaboration with others
  • Self-motivated and must take ownership of issues
  • Continuous Improvement approach
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willing to participate in an on-call schedule

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
