IT Business Analyst

In the upcoming years, an ambitious IT strategy has been established that aims to fundamentally transform our IT landscape and promote harmonization across the organization.
The primary business applications, including WMS, ERP, and E-Commerce platforms, will undergo renewal and be implemented across all divisions. This presents a significant challenge, and we are seeking top talent to support this transition.
As a Business Analyst, you will engage with all facets of our wholesale operations. Your role will be crucial in streamlining and enhancing our business processes from an IT standpoint. You will identify business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Analyzing data to propose optimizations will be a key part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with our application support team and solution architect will be essential to detail processes and any necessary initiatives or modifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Develop concrete recommendations for process improvements while collaborating closely with the business;
- Process Control: Create comprehensive process overviews and identify risks and issues related to these processes, serving as a foundation for actual changes;
- Business Process Analysis: Examine business processes, data, and KPIs to pinpoint potential areas for change and enhancements, such as streamlining workflows and reducing unnecessary steps;
- IT Requirements: Identify and document IT requirements within the organization, preparing and refining user stories for both functional and non-functional needs;
- Documentation: Responsible for establishing and maintaining documentation for all systems and services within our application ecosystem.
To excel in this challenging position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- An analytical mindset capable of overseeing a complex application landscape;
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience;
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a medium to large organization;
- Strong comprehension of intricate application landscapes;
- Experience with UML, developing use cases, user stories, and story maps;
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies;
- Proficiency in Confluence and Jira, or the ability to advocate for alternative tools;
- Fluency in Dutch at a C1 level is essential;
- Certification in IREB, BPMN, or a similar qualification is advantageous;
- Experience in IT transformation projects is a plus.
