About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Logistics Customer Care Specialist to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel N.V. in Nieuw-Amsterdam. As a key member of our Road Logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with existing customers, ensuring prompt and effective communication and support.
  • Oversee new orders, ensuring accurate data entry and timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Review and validate invoices and other essential documents to maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate customer orders with the Operational Care Centre Team, ensuring smooth execution within operational systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to effectively manage and enhance relationships with your existing customer portfolio.
  • Provide proactive advice and consultancy to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or complaints with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Monitor internal data and customer KPIs, aligning them with customer expectations, and driving continuous improvement through actionable insights.
  • Streamline administrative processes, ensuring they are efficient, controlled, and successful, while applying your flexibility and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in road freight and/or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle both order management and some finance-related responsibilities.
  • Strong team player with the capability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and distinguish between main and secondary issues.
  • Customer- and service-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent command of both English and Dutch.
