Job Overview

The Strategic Category Lead will be responsible for defining the category strategy and executing the implementation plan within the guidelines of our sourcing strategy and company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors and/or manufacturers.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier accounts throughout the Neways Group.
  • Oversee negotiations conducted by the buyers in your team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Procurement Technology Officer and Neways Technologies in various processes.
  • Actively support customer bid processes with optimal solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical business field, such as electronics, mechanical engineering, or technical business administration.
  • Relevant procurement certifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (desirable).
