Scope of Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the source code of our Uptrends product, working closely with a small team in an Agile environment based on Scrum. Your expertise will be essential in developing and maintaining software, translating functional requirements into detailed specifications, and participating in team meetings, code reviews, and design challenges.

You will also have the opportunity to partner with various teams within Uptrends and externally, delivering implementations that meet coding standards and conventions. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the maintainability, testability, and performance of our SaaS product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software in accordance with Agile methodologies.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed specifications and source code.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and communicate ideas/solutions to design challenges.
  • Deliver implementations following coding standards and conventions.
  • Write maintainable, testable, and performant code for the SaaS product.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, dev demo, and test case planning.
  • Deploy to production in a 3-weekly release schedule.
  • Operate the product by conducting deployments and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft stack (SQL Server, .NET, C#, MVC), JavaScript/TypeScript/Vue.js for the frontend, and TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience participating in team meetings, including grooming sessions, project planning, and other aspects of the product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to build professional, high-quality software.
  • Possession of a relevant HBO/WO degree.
