Internship Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:
- Lead a global benchmarking initiative to identify opportunities for optimizing plastic packaging, particularly focusing on PET bottles and labels.
- Support the formulation and execution of the Global Sourcing Strategy for plastics, targeting cost efficiency and sustainability objectives.
- Develop comprehensive cost models to enhance transparency across the value chain.
- Contribute to the establishment of the new Packaging Academy.
Learning Experience
This internship is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of essential procurement skills and tools, allowing you to learn from a leading organization while making a meaningful impact on HEINEKEN's sustainability goals.
Internship Details
- Full-time internship with flexible options available.
- Duration of 5 to 6 months, with potential for extension.
- Internship fee of €500 per month.
- Two vacation days per month.
- Commuting expenses reimbursed for eligible interns.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A passion for packaging and sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- The capacity to engage with various stakeholders and work independently.
- A background in Engineering or Management is preferred.
Conditions
Applicants must be enrolled at a university for the duration of the internship. This role requires physical presence at the internship location, as we believe in the value of direct collaboration with colleagues.
