Senior IT Continuity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior IT Continuity Specialist. As a key member of our Global SRE BCM chapter, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT continuity processes and practices across ING, ensuring the resilience of our critical IT and business services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IT continuity plans and processes, including business impact analysis, risk assessment, and crisis management planning.
- Define global standards for IT continuity plan development and testing, including datacenter disaster recovery testing.
- Ensure correct implementation of BCM capabilities for Service Providers across Tech, including contingency plan development and testing.
- Develop a consistent disaster recovery approach across our global tech platform providers and consumers.
- Operate in strong cooperation with involved Enterprise Architects, entity SREs, and engineers, and the Global OpRes/BCM team.
- 10-15+ years of experience in software engineering, IT operations, or software architect roles.
- Knowledgeable about technology in all levels of the technology stack, from infrastructure to front-end, from CI/CD to observability tooling.
- Preferred is hands-on experience with development of BCM/IT continuity within Tech, including development of continuity plans for Tech services and execution/coordination of datacenter down DR exercises.
- Broad understanding of technologies and consumer needs.
- Natural self-motivation and drive to take end-to-end ownership.
- Mindset of openness and willingness to try new ways of working.
- Curiosity to always look out for innovation opportunities.
