We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SRE Consultant to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Global SRE BCM chapter, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT continuity plans and processes, ensuring the resilience of our critical IT and business services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT continuity plans and processes to ensure business continuity and IT resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate IT risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement disaster recovery testing and business continuity exercises to ensure the effectiveness of our IT continuity plans.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to ensure knowledge sharing and expertise within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT continuity and business resilience.
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of experience in software engineering, IT operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of technology stacks, including infrastructure, front-end, and observability tooling.
- Hands-on experience with development of BCM/IT continuity within Tech, including continuity plans for Tech services and execution/coordination of datacenter down DR exercises.
- Broad understanding of technologies and consumer needs.
- Natural self-motivation and drive to take end-to-end ownership.
- Mindset of openness and willingness to try new ways of working.
- Curiosity to always look out for innovation opportunities.
