Accounting Executive Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Executive to join our team at the Finance and Enterprises Office. As an Accounting Executive, you will be responsible for handling various finance functions for Faculties and Departments, including general accounting duties such as budgetary control, payments and receipts processing, and journal entries preparation and posting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling finance functions for Faculties and Departments
  • General accounting duties such as budgetary control, payments and receipts processing, and journal entries preparation and posting
  • Preparing statement of account for funding bodies
  • Data entry and clerical work
  • Other accounting duties as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics
  • At least 1 year's work experience, preferably in accounting, auditing, and/or banking
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Good knowledge of PC and software applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus
  • Self-motivated and good team player, with the ability to work independently
  • Student member of a professional accounting body has an advantage
  • Fresh university graduates will also be considered
