Position: Associate Sales Representative

What You'll Do:

The Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP) is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide structured training and hands-on experience to cultivate sales professionals. You will enhance your sales, technical, and communication abilities while gaining exposure to various facets of Sales through our Education Exposure Experience model. You will learn to effectively present Cisco's architectures, solutions, products, and technologies to our clientele.

Your career trajectory will progress into a Virtual Account Manager (VAM) role within Cisco's Global Virtual Sales (GVS) Team. The GVS organization is dedicated to enhancing sales productivity and creating significant business value for our partners while fostering strong partner relationships. As a VAM, you will develop enduring business connections with customers and Cisco partners, collaborating closely to comprehend their business strategies and identify new opportunities, all while achieving their desired outcomes. You will work alongside Solutions Engineers to articulate the advantages of our Cisco solutions to your customers, utilizing our advanced collaboration tools.

From this point, your career can evolve into a variety of sales roles within Cisco.

As a successful Associate Sales Representative (ASR), you will learn to identify, cultivate, and drive new opportunities for our customers in partnership with Cisco partners, while working with Cisco engineers to deliver technical solutions that achieve business objectives for our clients.

You will have a dedicated mentor, a CSAP alumnus who has navigated similar paths and will assist you in your development. Who You Are:

  • A graduate with a degree in business or management; OR certified from a Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College, or Vocational School.
  • Possess initial experience in a sales or consulting IT role.
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience in a related industry, start-up, or consultancy, ideally with a focus on technology.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • A technology enthusiast with a passion for innovation.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to build a long-term sales career with Cisco.
  • Approach challenges with an open and inquisitive mindset, embracing growth opportunities.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and think creatively to resolve them.
  • A confident communicator who can engage with a diverse range of individuals and values teamwork as essential to success.
  • Eligible to live and work in The Netherlands without company sponsorship.
