Your Role

Kuehne + Nagel stands as a leading entity in the Netherlands within the Air Freight sector. Our Revenue Assurance Center is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive the exceptional service we are recognized for. We are currently seeking a Revenue Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be accountable for fulfilling the financial expectations of our stakeholders and clients. Throughout your responsibilities, you will maintain ongoing communication with both the Customer Care team and the Operational Care team regarding their progress and processes. Your ability to sustain an overview in a dynamic environment while ensuring high data integrity will be crucial.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing invoices for designated operational departments.
  • Overseeing the accuracy, completeness, and promptness of sales invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on disputed invoices.
  • Resolving inquiries and issues in collaboration with operational colleagues.
  • Validating and determining accurate results.
  • Notifying suppliers and/or customers of any incorrect invoices.
  • Preparing invoices for payment processing.
  • Coordinating the recharging of costs in consultation with the forwarder.
  • Implementing necessary corrections in agreement with the supervisor.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Banking.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding and air logistics is beneficial.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communicator with an analytical mindset.
  • Proactive with a keen eye for detail and initiative.
  • Comfortable with data processing and maintenance.
  • Skilled in utilizing various software systems.
