We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoc Researcher to join our team at the Advanced Research Center for Nanolithography (ARCNL) to work on a project focused on tribological wear in nanolithography.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wear experiments on a recently developed instrument to gain insight into the industrially relevant wear behavior.
- Develop and implement customized wear experiments in controllable environments.
- Collaborate with the Contact Dynamics team to investigate friction and wear in relation to positioning challenges in the semiconductor industry.
- Communicate and explain the results of your work to the team and stakeholders.
- PhD degree in physics or a related subject.
- Experience in using/developing instrumentation for mechanical/tribological testing.
- Strong experimental and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
ARCNL is a public-private partnership between the Dutch Research Council (NWO), the University of Amsterdam (UvA), the VU University Amsterdam (VU), and associate partner the University of Groningen (RuG), and the semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML. We focus on the fundamental physics and chemistry involved in current and future key technologies in nanolithography, primarily for the semiconductor industry.
