Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Strategist, you will play a crucial role in synchronizing sales and operations activities across our Global Supply Points in EU. Your primary objective will be to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize customer satisfaction. You will lead the development and execution of our S&OP process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align sales forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, and customer demand.
Key Activities
- Manage the monthly S&OP drumbeat, preparing and facilitating the monthly supply review and executive meeting.
- Monitor progress against the plan through frequent contact with stakeholders, including Production & Material Planning, Supply Points/Plant teams, Customer Services, and other Supply Network Planners.
- Maintain Supply Network planning master data, systems, and software, and analyze trends to enhance forecasting.
- Propose improvements to the planning process and implement them.
- Lead and/or participate in projects to improve End-2-End Supply Chain reliability and planning processes, collaborating with key customer planning teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, be able to convince and persuade stakeholders, and maintain a constructive relationship with them. You will lead with influence, build bridges between stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably a master's degree.
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a bigger supply chain organization.
- Fluent English, preferably also Dutch.
