Boskalis is a leading global dredging and marine contractor with a strong presence in the international market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in the Dredging and Inland Infra division.

About the Role

The Legal Counsel Dredging will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Dredging and Inland Infra division, including contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract law, construction law, and international law, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support to the Dredging and Inland Infra division on contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to dredging and infrastructure projects.
  • Advise on and implement compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other legal professionals, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and provide recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong background in contract law, construction law, and international law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language skills, with Dutch language skills a plus.
