CTO Senior Finance Business Partner

As a key member of the Central Technology team at Booking.com, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and control for the CTO and their team. With a strong focus on innovative business strategies and solid financial plans, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and control cycle activities for Central Tech. This includes bridging business strategies into financial plans, advising stakeholders on financial performance, and enhancing ways of working within the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively advising the business on trends and financial/operational opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining in-depth understanding of Central Tech business drivers
  • Responsible for long and short-term range modeling, spend and capex requirements, and tracking execution of financial and operational benefits
  • Driving team to execute on both short and long-term business planning process
  • Developing, coaching, leading, and inspiring team members to deliver results
  • Overseeing month-end close process to accurately report business results and provide insightful commentary
  • Improving and ensuring data governance and integrity on key metrics

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Additional professional certification (CPA/RC/CIMA/CMA) or studying a plus
  • Experience managing budgets in Technology department/function required
  • Experience business partnering at CTO, CIO level
  • 10+ years of experience in business control
  • 5+ years of team management experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required, Google Sheets a plus
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to listen, work with, and proactively advise business partners
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
