Summary:

The Technical Transfer Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of client-related projects to enhance client service and satisfaction in the best interest of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role requires strong technical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to identify solutions aligned with client and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new business opportunities through technical meetings with clients and Business Management.
  • Maintain continuous contact with clients to focus on their requirements.
  • Generate key documentation, including the Technology Transfer Checklist, Gap Analysis, and Technology Transfer Report.
  • Lead and track project activities to ensure alignment with expectations and agreed-upon timelines.
  • Chair regular meetings and correspondence between internal and client teams.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to project timelines or commercial production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, pharmacy, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Productions, Quality, or relevant contract manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management and/or client service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing/operational processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance.

Work Environment:

  • Light physical effort and fatigue.
  • May require occasional equipment operation.
