What You Can Anticipate

As part of the Front Office team, you will play a vital role in welcoming guests and ensuring a memorable stay. The Front Office is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and delivering necessary services.

In the role of Guest Services Attendant, you will assist our guests efficiently while adhering to hotel standards. Your interaction with guests is crucial, as it significantly impacts their satisfaction. You will serve as the hotel's ambassador, greeting all guests and guiding them throughout their experience at Hotel Okura Amsterdam. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing friendly, efficient, and professional assistance to guests during their stay;
  • Upholding the hotel’s service standards;
  • Familiarizing yourself with the preferences of our regular guests and VIPs;
  • Offering recommendations for activities and attractions in Amsterdam;
  • Escorting guests to their rooms and informing them about hotel amenities and local highlights;
  • Coordinating transportation, including taxis and parking;
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and exterior area;

Rest assured, you will not be working in isolation. In addition to collaborating with your own team, you will engage with various departments within the hotel. Our collective efforts are essential for achieving outstanding results. Shifts will vary throughout a 7-day workweek, with schedules such as: 07:00 – 15:00, 11:00 – 19:00, and 15:00 – 23:00. You will work 5 days a week, totaling 7.6 hours per day, and be available for public holiday shifts.
