About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Modelling Expert to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Asset Liability Management (ALM) modelling team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex models that drive business decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced ALM models to manage interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement regulatory models for NII and EVE Supervisory outlier tests (SOTs) and EBA Stress testing exercise
  • Monitor and model client behaviour to ensure accurate capital requirements and stable Net Interest Income
  • Work closely with the ALM Modelling team to ensure models are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Academic degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering & Physics
  • Relevant experience in the financial sector (banking, insurance, consulting) within IRRBB domain
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to put them into practice using programming languages such as Python
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within set timelines
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively
  • Great team player skills and fluency in English
