Job Title: Senior ALM Model Developer

ING is seeking a highly skilled Senior ALM Model Developer to join our Asset and Liability Modelling team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models that support our business strategy.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in quantitative finance and risk management. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement advanced ALM models that accurately capture the complexities of our business.

You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their needs and develop models that meet their requirements. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex ALM models using advanced mathematical techniques and programming languages such as Python.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop models that meet their requirements.
  • Ensure that models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes that impact our business.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, engineering, or physics.
  • Relevant experience in financial risk management and ALM modelling.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate complex ideas effectively.
