About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Model Developer to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Asset and Liability Management (ALM) modelling team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced ALM models to manage interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement model-based solutions for pricing, hedging, and funding
  • Conduct data analysis and statistical modelling to identify trends and patterns in client behaviour
  • Design and implement regulatory models for Non-Maturing Deposits (NMDs) and Economic Value and Capital Requirements (EVC)
  • Work closely with the model validation team to ensure models meet regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics
  • Professional certifications in financial risk management, such as CFA or FRM
  • Relevant experience in the financial sector, particularly in IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to stakeholders
