Lead Mechanical Systems Development

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of advanced mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate customer needs into detailed specifications and conceptual designs
  • Define mechanical architecture, budgets, and designs for (sub)systems
  • Specify tests and integration requirements to ensure project success
  • Ensure high quality and reliability of delivered mechanical designs
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to foster organizational growth
  • Introduce new technologies and solutions, driving innovation and pushing boundaries
  • Investigate theoretical working principles and apply them practically in projects
  • Lead complex projects and stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
  • BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Mechatronical Engineering
  • At least ten years of experience and expertise in the design of mechatronic and precision systems and equipment
  • Proven track record in the field of mechanics within high-tech system and/or equipment design
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Strong leadership skills, guiding and inspiring a larger team of engineers and designers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, addressing and resolving complex challenges
  • Good communication skills, effectively conveying technical information to internal and external stakeholders
