Your Responsibilities
Acquire and oversee projects in the area of Human Rights and HR&E due diligence; serve as a subject matter expert on topics such as Minimum Social Safeguards in relation to EU taxonomy, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and social impacts of renewable energy initiatives.Collaborate directly with clients to address their needs.Mentor and guide KPMG colleagues in your area of expertise, assisting them in understanding the implications of human rights for their clients.Enhance our market presence and thought leadership in the realm of business and human rights.
Your Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and over 10 years of experience in business and human rights.Preferred experience in both consultancy and corporate roles (Corporate Sector or Financial Sector).Proficient in implementing relevant tools and methodologies, including stakeholder consultations, social research, social audits, and human rights impact assessments.Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in report writing and presentations in English and (preferably) Dutch.Experience in managing global projects.Adept at considering multiple stakeholder perspectives.

Our team collaborates with businesses, government entities, and non-profits to navigate complex social challenges, risks, and opportunities. We devise and implement practical solutions to foster sustainable positive change. KPMG Netherlands is committed to addressing significant social issues and leveraging our unique skills to create lasting impacts. We are part of KPMG's Social Sustainability, Business and Human Rights, and Supply Chain & Operations Networks, uniting specialists globally to deliver comprehensive solutions.
You will engage in a variety of innovative services related to social impact, human rights in business, ethical sourcing, sustainable supply chain management, social assessments, and stakeholder engagement. Collaborating with colleagues from various countries and departments, you will work towards building market relationships and serving clients effectively. Together with ESG reporting and assurance specialists, you will guide clients through the complexities associated with ESRS S1-4, focusing on identifying and managing relevant risks and opportunities, as well as developing policies and action plans to enhance their social performance.
