At Nordson, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our team as a Technical Account Manager.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with a focus on technical industries. They will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving profitable sales.
- Commercial support for PA Field Service Technicians and PA Sales Specialists in assigned regions to help customer opportunities, create and track quotations, maintenance contracts, installations.
- Invoicing services and spare parts based on service reports.
- Monitor service/parts orders and resolve customer complaints (missing parts, incorrect shipments, etc.) if needed.
- Responsible for customer account management (tele-sales).
- Report all activities and customer data in the CRM system to ensure complete transparency.
- Keep the CRM database updated and work with the ticketing system, including invoicing of service agreements.
- Identify opportunities for maintenance contracts by pro-actively analyzing customer data in the CRM system to share with the relevant team.
- Coordinate repair orders of hot melt systems with Nordson workshops in Europe.
- Support the management team by analyzing results (hit-rates, campaign successes, etc.) and creating regular reports.
- Identify sales potential (spare parts, services, repair, rebuild) and trade-in potential by pro-actively analyzing customer data in the CRM system to share with the relevant team.
- Interface with Aftermarket and Sales teams and Customer Project Engineers to maximize sales opportunities.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Requirements- An Associate's Degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a technical industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
