Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team at Puma Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the service delivery process to achieve the required level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a customer satisfaction strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate customer activity to achieve outstanding customer outcomes, balancing terminal interests and capabilities.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and leverage added value and process improvement.
  • Participate in the management team for Rotterdam Terminal, supporting the General Manager in ensuring customer satisfaction and continued business relationships.
  • Contribute to the development and approval of the overall strategy, including the customer satisfaction and logistics strategy of the terminal.
  • Formulate yearly planning and budgeting for the Customer Service department and monitor the actual performance against budget.
  • Ensure compliance to environmental issues and oversee and manage customer service budget.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring execution of customer order to invoice process and management of contracts agreed with customers.
  • Ensure effective customer planning, as input for operational terminal planning and appropriate interface and communication between customer and terminal on planning issues.
  • Handle all day-to-day customs declarations and activities, ensuring day-to-day compliance to the Customs permit requirements.
  • Expedient handling of complaints, demurrages, and claims, in line with the agreed policy and regulations.
  • Organize, train, develop, and manage the Logistics/CS department, meeting quantitative and qualitative needs.
  • Development of know-how on logistics and CS matters for information on best professional and local practices and within regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in a management position in Energy Infra, commodity trading, liquid bulk, or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management.
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, presentation tools, and programs.
  • Experienced user of business software linked to the larger enterprise management system.
  • Full proficiency in Dutch and English is essential.
