Production Assistant Food

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our packaging team at Olympia in Dordrecht. As a Packaging Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, packing high-quality food products for distribution to stores worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating packaging equipment, including manual packing and high-tech machines;
- Switching out wraps, films, or stickers and ensuring adequate supplies of boxes and glue;
- Folding and sealing boxes or loading the packing machine with cardboard;
- Manually filling boxes or trays, following instructions from the Operator or Line Manager;
- Checking the quality of packages and products, ensuring they meet our high standards;
- Sealing, labeling, and stacking boxes for warehouse distribution;
- Handling packaging issues and maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
- Tracking numbers and logging any issues.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, following HACCP and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. If you are a practical and technical individual with a passion for food production, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in Dutch or English;
- A practical and technical mindset;
- Ability to work in 3 or 5 shifts;
- Experience with packaging machines or working in a food factory is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary of €14.97 per hour, excluding shift allowance, as well as additional shift allowance, travel expense reimbursement after 10km, and the possibility of a permanent contract.
