Senior Quality Control Specialist

AHV International, a leader in innovative animal health solutions, seeks an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join its analytical lab team. Based in Zwolle, The Netherlands, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the company's mission of improving animal health.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, biotechnology, or food technology, with expertise in laboratory techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS/MS. With 2-3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting routine and non-routine shelf-life testing. This includes preparing product samples, recording and analyzing test data, identifying trends, and collaborating with other departments to resolve quality issues.
We offer a competitive salary package based on your background and experience, including:
- $65,000 per year (approximate), considering the location and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control policies.
- Conducting routine and non-routine shelf-life testing on products.
- Preparing product samples and ensuring proper storage and handling for testing.
- Recording and analyzing test data, identifying trends, and proposing solutions.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve quality issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Food Technology.
- Strong foundation in laboratory techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS/MS.
- 2-3 years of experience in an analytical lab environment.
- Positive attitude, hands-on mentality, and teamwork skills.
- Accurate documentation and strong analytical skills.
