The PMO Team Lead is a key member of the ASML Program Management Office, responsible for leading a team of PMOs in delivering strategic business objectives. This role combines the responsibilities of a Business Line PMO Product Group Officer and a Business Line PMO Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage, engage, and develop a team of 4 to 8 PMOs, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Strategic Direction: Interpret business needs and translate them into actionable team deliverables, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Result Expectations: Clearly communicate expected outcomes to team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Select and hire new PMO employees, and support team members in their personal and professional growth.
- Team Organization and Structure: Establish and maintain effective team and meeting structures, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
- Triple Constraint Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business value, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Decision Making: Drive effective decision-making across all levels, ensuring informed and timely decisions.
- Process Improvement: Implement and improve project (program) standards and processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Management: Provide guidance during the financial forecasting process and assist with regular financial management and reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively connect, enable, and challenge stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
- Team Competence Development: Grow people and team competences within the PMO and ASML's Project Management community.
- Education: Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of leadership experience, combined with 8+ years of experience as a Project/Program/Portfolio Management (PMO) expert in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role is positioned within ASML's Program Management Office, supporting the company's strategic objectives.
