Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to join our Structural Topsides discipline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leading the structural engineers in the design and analysis of offshore topsides structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in structural analysis and design of offshore topsides structures, including FPSO modules, helidecks, flare towers, and hull integrations.
  • Lead a team of structural engineers in the development of design calculations, 3D modeling, construction drawings, and MTOs for offshore structures.
  • Interface with clients, project management, other disciplines, procurement, construction, classification bureaus, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and guidelines for structural analysis and design.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural design with other engineering scopes.
Requirements:
  • MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Naval, or Aerospace Engineering with specialization in structural analysis of offshore topside structures.
  • Approximately 12 years of experience in structural offshore engineering, with a strong background in structural analysis and design.
  • Excellent management skills, with the ability to lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other disciplines.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural analysis and design software, including GeniE.
  • Professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
