Research Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research assistant to join our cutting-edge project at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. The project, titled "AI Lipsync", aims to evaluate the accuracy of speech and lip movement synchronization in AI-agents and its impact on user experience.

The research assistant will be responsible for programming experimental tasks, data collection, and analysis using EEG and eye-tracking systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, cognitive science, or related fields, and experience in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB. Additionally, proficiency in data analysis and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary research team are essential.

The research team is looking for a candidate who can contribute to the ongoing refinement of the neuropsychological model for predicting human brain responses to AI-driven speech. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human-computer interaction and AI research, and be able to work in a dynamic research environment. The research assistant will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI and human-computer interaction research, work with advanced technologies, and contribute to academic publications.

Responsibilities

- Programming and Experiment Setup: Assist in programming experimental tasks to analyze speech and lip synchronization in AI agents.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Support data acquisition using EEG and eye-tracking systems, as well as perform statistical analysis of the collected data.
- Collaborate with the research team in designing and running the experiment for testing AI-human speech interactions.
- Participate in literature reviews and contribute to the ongoing refinement of the neuropsychological model for predicting human brain responses to AI-driven speech.

Requirements

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or other similar tools.
- Experience in data analysis, especially using EEG, eye-tracking, or related tools.
- Background in computer science, cognitive science, psychology, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary research team.
