About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to lead our Finance and Control team at Schiphol Commercial. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering and guarding our financial performance, ensuring reliable reporting on a monthly basis, and managing our financial planning cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance & control team to deliver and guard Schiphol Commercial's financial performance.
  • Deliver and actively report on commercial business and financial performance using leading and lagging KPIs.
  • Manage and deliver the financial planning cycle, including financial forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
  • Identify, map, and reduce strategic, operational, and financial risks, ensuring the existence of robust and up-to-date controls.
  • Act as a Board member of several Schiphol (foreign) subsidiaries.
  • Lead M&A transactions within Schiphol Commercial, including business case, structuring, and integration.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the finance organization and adapt to the needs of the business and other stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a WO master supplemented with an RA/RC title and 10+ years of relevant financial business experience from professional and demanding business environments. You should have 5+ years of finance team leadership experience, hands-on experience of complex accounting topics, ERP implementations, and Mergers & Acquisition. Specific knowledge and experience with real estate valuation and GREX is a plus.
